Nuestra Señora de la Natividad is not only one of the most isolated monasteries in the kingdom, it is also one of the most famous. Of particular renown is the huge library, in which the best scribes in the world study and copy the works of the scholars. But that is not all that the monks watch over – the crypt holds many art treasures.
The remote location of the abbey is, however, also the reason why simple folk view the monks with a certain degree of friendly caution, or even outright suspicion. And it is said that the souls of the dead walk abroad at night in the grounds of the isolated monastery....
